grand view university has a *conditional test-optional admissions process. applicants are accepted on a rolling basis. consideration may be given to: quality of high school curriculum completed; class rank, co-curricular achievement; and maturity and seriousness of purpose as displayed through church, community, school, work, and family activities. some student athletes and non-student athletes may need to submit a test score. for details please see below.
*conditional test-optional policy - students with a cumulative gpa of 2.85 or higher on a 4.0 scale may be admitted without submitting an act or sat test score. students with a cumulative gpa of 2.84 or lower on a 4.0 scale will need to submit an act or sat test score for admissions review. if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact admissions at (515) 263-2810 or (800) 444-6083.
*athletes - if you are interested in participating in naia athletics at grand view university you will need to meet the naia eligibility criteria to be eligible to compete. all first-time naia student athletes will need to register and receive an eligible determination through the naia eligibility center. student athletes must meet two of the three criteria standards in order to be deemed eligible for participation in naia sports. a student athlete must achieve a 2.0 cumulative gpa on a 4.0 scale and or top 50% class rank and or an 18 act or higher/860 sat or higher. please contact our athletic success coordinator, michelle prange at mprange @ grandview.edu or (515) 263-6196 if you have any questions regarding athletic eligibility.
